Design Service - Antiques of the Future

Antiques of the Future is our bespoke luxury design service. We work with private clients, organisations, B Corps, and private companies. There are multiple ways to work with us through this exciting project.

Commission a bespoke crest for your family or your company

This process helps you share your values, and your history and create a legacy which you can share with the world.

Your crest can then be recreated as a variety of different products. Examples of this can be found below. And if you would like to find out more about what inspired Antiques of the Future you can read about it here.

Social Impact

There are four ways in which your commissions can have a social impact. Our mission is to nurture the next generation of neurodiverse talent. We currently work with young people in the Tyne & Wear area. And you can keep up to date with the projects we work on here.

Commission

For your bespoke commission, you will work with our Director Corinne Lewis-Ward who will personally design your artwork and manage the manufacturing process. Corinne has been working as a designer for 13 years and has built an impressive, high-quality reliable supply chain. You can find out more about her product range through her company Powder Butterfly. Corinne has worked for multiple corporate clients with her products ending up all over the world. Her attention to detail and unique style of design is universally loved and she has a unique gift of building an emotional connection into the products she designs.

We pledge to donate 20% of the profits from your commission to our work with young neurodiverse people. This will be invested into existing projects, and create new opportunities for our young people (for example by paying our young people to produce new artworks to exhibit and sell.) By working with us you will help neurodiverse young people to overcome social barriers, and gain confidence through creative activities.

Co-Design

Perhaps you are an organisation that commits social impact. When commissioning your next set of corporate gifts, awards, or complimentary gifts for your events and awards ceremonies. Or perhaps you have a wrap party for your film crew and you want a special gift created for the end of your project then we will co-create your gift with our young creators. This gives our young people access to:

  • A real-live client brief

  • Gives them an opportunity to be part of the design process

  • Gives them access to behind the scenes of different companies and organisations

  • It builds their curiosity and helps them explore career paths

  • Gives them an understanding of what working for clients and organisations is like

This gives you:

  • High quality and original design solutions

  • Helps you share your values through the products you commission -our products will become part of your marketing strategy

  • Makes it clear that you are involved in high-quality social impact with a purpose

  • Gives you access to our tried and tested high-quality British supply chain

  • Makes your clients, staff and colleagues feel valued and appreciated while also associating your company or organisation with the positive impact you are having.

Partnership Working

As an organisation, we thrive on collaboration. We have worked with a range of partners, from Local Authorities to local and national organisations. We are passionate about delivering projects in partnership as we take the saying ‘it takes a village’ to heart. We understand that our expertise is specific and we are always keen to explore opportunities to work in partnership. Below are some ways in which we can work with you.

  • We can be your public engagement delivery partner

  • We can create a programme of public engagement that meets your needs for art. design and culture and engages the neurodiverse community

  • We can work as a consultant to advise on a range of projects, including but not exclusive to art & design, working with neurodiverse creatives, retail products, merchandising, and creating designer maker events

  • We can be included in your funding bid as a not-for-profit partner organisation - making your bid unique to stand out against your competition

  • Our track record of delivery speaks for itself; we are happy to provide you with partner references and testimonials to let our clients sing our praises

Become a Patron or Board Member

As a community Interest Company, we deliver a range of public engagement projects. For example, we are in the process of setting up an arts group for young neurodiverse creatives. This will give young people access to art supplies, develop new skills, build confidence, meet new friends, spark curiosity, while also building a safe space and community for young people to thrive in.

Would you like to be a patron of the arts and support an art group like this? If so you could help us create more opportunities for young people to thrive. Below are some statistics that have inspired us to do this work:

1 in 7 people in the UK are neurodiverse

30-40% of neurodiverse people are unemployed?

Around 20-50% of creative industry employees are neurodiverse.

Our founder and Director Corinne Lewis-Ward has direct experience of this as she received a late diagnosis of Dyslexia when she was 23 and ADHD when she was 49 and is awaiting autism assessment. Her youngest child is also neurodivergent. This lived experience is what drives our organisation to do better when it comes to supporting the next generation of neurodiverse talent. So that our young people do not just become another statistic.

If this sounds like something you would like to help us with by becoming a patron of our organisation, or you feel you have something to offer our board, then please get in touch here.
